Department of Early Childhood Care and Education
Brief History:
The purpose of our department is to help students acquiring professional knowledge and practical skills of early childhood care education. The department aims at educating students as childcare professionals.
Objectives:
In addition to basic courses, knowledge related with children development, council and training for teaching skills are required for students. The department combines with the school’s teaching resources of nursing and management to enhance the abilities of taking care of children and the techniques of marketing or managing the childcare center.
Features:
Our department also cooperates with kindergartens and childcare centers in providing students the opportunity of practical training. Students who graduate from our department are qualified to take the national certification exams to obtain the childcare licenses and are capable of working in kindergartens and in the fields of early childcare and nursing.
Curriculum:
Our curriculum includes Child Development, Child Care Physiology, Child health care, Theory of early childhood care, Early childhood teaching materials and methods , Kindergarten administrative , Kindergarten practice….etc.
